Sugarland Concert Stage Collapse | 2011 Indiana State Fair

Saturday night's Indiana State Fair at Indianapolis, Indiana left at least 4 people dead and 40 injured when strong winds estimated between 60-70 mph toppled the Hoosier Lottery Stage just as American country music duo Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland was about to perform. Part of the steel scaffolding supporting the canopy and heavy concert speakers fell on those near the stage.
Following the tragic accident, Sugarland and fellow country music artists Steel Magnolia, Martina McBride, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, Blake Shelton, Sara Bareilles, Dierks Bentley, Easton Corbin and Chris Young sent Twitter messages asking fans to join them in prayer for those injured and for the lives lost.
