In May 2007, Oak Cliff-based personal chef Rachel Brown shot herself after to death after appearing on "Hell's Kitchen," an American reality-television cooking competition that exposed striving restaurateurs to nasty criticism from English foodie and judge Gordon Ramsay.
Brown lost, but her quasi-romance with another female contestant became a reality TV first.
And just yesterday, 39-year old Joseph Cerniglia, a former contestant on the reality show "Kitchen Nightmares" which also featured Ramsay, apparently leaped to his death from the George Washington Bridge.
