The American Country Awards, a newly-established country music award-giving body kicks, off Monday night, December 6, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the fourth major award show entirely focused on the country music genre, in addition to the CMA Awards, the ACM Awards and the CMT Music Awards.
